Gasroad provides optimal technical solutions through development of reliable and complete testing facilities.
Since its establishment in 2001, Gasroad has evolved from its core businesses of CNG and aerospace testing facilities construction to become a leading provider of high-pressure gas solutions. It is now a plant EPC company specializing in development of combustion and propulsion systems.
With specialized technologies in the fuel system of gas turbine engines, Gasroad develops and manufactures testing facilities and instruments for various fields, including gas turbine testing facilities, hydrogen business, aerospace and defense, and nuclear fusion energy. It is a hydrogen specialist company, developing not only various testing facilities related to hydrogen storage above 700 bar, which is essential for the hydrogen economy, but also mass production facilities.
Gasroad has the original technology for constructing various testing facilities that demand extreme conditions such as ultra-high pressure above 1000 bar, ultra-high temperature above 1500°C, ultra-low temperature of -190°C, ultra-high vacuum and high-speed air flow of 15~30kg/s. The company focuses on technological innovation and R&D and strives to ensure product safety and performance through simulated product testing under real-world conditions.
Gasroad is a technology-focused company providing the most optimal solutions to customers in achieving their business objectives. Through continuous innovation, it strives to lead the way in testing facilities technology, reinforcing advanced capabilities and expertise across diverse industries.
Business FieldsBusiness Fields
Gas turbines
Beginning with the development of 5MW combustor testing facility for Doosan Enerbility in 2008, the company has also designed, manufactured and installed testing facilities for maintaining the expanded 270MW facilities and hydrogen-fueled gas turbine nozzles. It has secured technologies specialized in producing testing facilities for combustion and propulsion of gas turbine engines used in power generation, aerospace and defense industries.
Hydrogen and mobility
After the establishment in 2001, the company began with designing and producing testing facilities for CNG fueling stations, which is considered the foundation of the hydrogen industry. It has conducted research and development on fuel systems for Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCVs) from its early days, and as a hydrogen specialist company (No. 2022-0018), it now develops and manufactures various testing and mass production facilities for hydrogen storage above 700 bar, a key component of the hydrogen economy.
Aerospace and defense
Gasroad has independently built a variety of testing facilities for extreme environments requiring cutting-edge technology, such as the testing facilities for high-altitude and for combustion and engine. The company collaborates with the Defense Science Research Institute, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and various defense companies to stabilize the facilities and improve their performance through continuous technological development.
Gas facilities and equipment
Gasroad specializes in high-pressure gas and is registered for machinery and gas facility construction and specific equipment manufacturing (storage tanks, pressure vessels, vaporizers). It applies facilities and technical standards that meet legal requirements.
Nuclear fusion energy
Gasroad is contributing in fusion energy technology development by participating in Conceptual Design and Basic Technology Research for a Fusion Demonstration Plant by the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy (KFE). Specifically, it is undertaking the basic conceptual design of a breeding blanket safety testing facility (December 2023 - March 2025), aiming to secure core breeding blanket technologies and contribute to fusion energy development.
R&D
With its engineering-based scientific expertise, core technologies and continuous innovation, Gasroad is at the center of developing specialized testing facilities and equipment capable of perfectly replicating the testing conditions required by various industrial fields.
