Hanwha Impact Signs MOU for F-Class Gas Turbine Hydrogen Co-Firing Power Generation Demonstration Project

Korea Western Power, Hanwha Impact, KEPCO KPS, and nine other companies will jointly conduct a demonstration project for F-class gas turbine hydrogen co-firing power generation.

On the 8th, Hanwha Impact announced that it had signed a technical cooperation agreement at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul with Korea Western Power, Hanwha Power Systems, KEPCO KPS, Gas Road, Geumhwa PSC, Sunbo Unitech, Seongil Turbine, Changwon Gijeon, Turbo Power Tech, and Hanul Aviation Machinery. The agreement aims to secure and implement a government project for the demonstration of F-class gas turbine hydrogen co-firing power generation.

This initiative marks the next phase following Hanwha Impact’s ongoing 80MW-class E-class gas turbine hydrogen co-firing demonstration project at its Daesan site.
