[E2 News] The 3rd Hydrogen Day Ceremony was held on November 1st at Sebitseom to commemorate Hydrogen Day (November 2nd every year). While the first ceremony took place in 2022, this was the first event held after the day was legally recognized.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to individuals who contributed to the development of the hydrogen industry. Lee Seong-jae, Chairman of SPG Hydrogen, received the Industrial Medal of Honor. Professor Moon Il from Yonsei University was awarded the Order of Service Merit, while Baek Un-bong, Principal Researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, received the Presidential Citation, and the city of Samcheok was honored with the Prime Minister’s Award.

Additionally, 30 individuals received the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Award in the category of hydrogen economy promotion, including Gil Young-man, CEO of Gas Road. 15 individuals, including Kim Gye-soo, an officer from the Incheon Metropolitan Government, were recognized in the hydrogen industry promotion category.
